I just finished watching season 10 of the Stargate SG1 series and I have to say the last show was good but I'm kindadisappointed about not knowing the outcome of Daniel's effort to destroy the Ori. I hear that there may be a movie coming out. Does anyone know if this might spawn a set of models of the ships? I thought the Ori ships were really cool as well as the Odessey.

I thought a movie was planned as soon as they announced
the series was ending. It is supposed to go straight to DVD.
It may be released by the end of this year.

I never liked the Ori ships that much. They look like crowns to me.

I do like the Earth ships, though.

Yes, there will be movies, either on Sci Fi or straight to DVD.

No, there will never be model kits, at least not mainstream plastic kits.

I wonder why  Stargate sg1 has been around longer than all of the TOS and current Battlestar Seasons combined. Clearly this show and Stargate Atalantis has a large following.

What was the last licensed plastic model kit you've seen for a current TV sci fi series? The plastic kit companies gave up on them years ago. Revell says they don't sell, Monogram is owned by Revell, and RC2 destroyed PL and Ertl.

^ It sure seems like a coordinated effort to exterminate the
genre, if not the hobby.
