Dave Anto gave me this car thinking it's a Firebird. We didn't think so, but he forced it on me anyway.... ;)

It says Kenner Prod on the base and Fast 111s, so that much we know, but is it supposed to be based on an actual car?

I see the fire but not the bird. Strange piece. It doesn't look like a Firebird to me.

Maybe I'm crazy, but from the windshield back, it kind of reminds me of an old AMC Spirit.

I remember my sister's husband having some of those, they all had tail lights that looked like that, I have a couple somewhere with nearly the same tail lights.

maybe you could have someone in the Vermont DMV run that plate number to see who owns it and what the car really is

is there a year on the base ? maybe if we knew the approximate time frame it was released the type of car it might be will be revealed

I Collected Fast 111's When I Was A Kid.that Car Was Not Based On Any Specific Vehicle.they Had Many That Were Fantasy And A Few That Were Based On Real Cars.the 81 Turbo T/a Was One Of Them.this Car Is Just A Generic Funny Car.i Still Have All Of My Fast 111's Stored Away At My Dads,so Next Time I Think I Will Dig Them Up.

I like that answer.
You know anyone in the Vermont DMV?
The year stamped on the base is 1980

Thanks, Poncho. I think I'll go with your answer.

That would be based on the Plymouth Arrow. A crappy little car that was a popular funny car body in the late seventies/early eighties.

does it have a v6 in it ,only 3 pipes on each side.

Yep, Plymouth Arrow. Action made several older releases in that stype body.

And on a side note, nice to see you around Dr. Olds. Don't see you hanging out (or at least posting) as much as I would like. Hope all is well.

I didn't even notice that, but, yes. V6.
So, Plymouth Arrow? Really?

Well, yes to the Arrow, but the 3 pipes each side was just a fluke. They were full blown Hemi based monsters just like today. I think the piping issue on this casting was just poor design work on the part of Kenner.
