I have heard that the onroad 12th scale guys in Northern California are using a single cell lipo and the Novak 3.5. They are getting 19t speeds with it. I thought it was interesting and wanted to pass it on.

This was something I had looked at for OVAL several months ago, but by the time you added the receiver pack and so on...I thought the direction we are looking at would make a better long term direction. THIS Could be really cool though for the 1/12th guys. With a lipo rated at what 3.7 volts per cell and a 3.5 motor rated at 10,500 unloaded rpm per volt that is still a crazy RPM range, and if it loaded down at the 50% range (which would probably be close with the low voltage) you'd be pulling right about 19,500 rpm under load. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
