The WMs, powered by a turbocharged version of the PRV V6 (seen in Peugeots, Renault & Volvo roadcars), competed at Le Mans for many years, their best result being a 4th place finish. The cars were usually very aerodynamic and were designed for max speed on the long straights. The #9 P83, driven by Raulet / Pignard / Theys, retired with over heating.

After looking through this new batch of photos...I had to clean the dirt off my tounge where it was laying on the ground!
I FREAKING LOVE YOUR TASTE IN SUBJECT MATTER! The history behind each piece and the beautiful photos just make your post so much fun. Keep it up and thanks for the great cars. About as close as I will ever come to having them.

Nice pic, and like said before, the history of the car makes the post even better. I just got a Nissan 88C in 1:64 from kyosho. Do you like the group c years :). I wish I had the money, and space to collect the 1:43 scale.
