One of the lesser known marques to have competed at the 24 Hours - Inalteras were entered in 1976, '77 & '78.
This is the private Chevalley Racing car from 1978 - driven by Andre Chevalley & Francois Trisconi, the car qualified in 19th & finished in 13th place.
An excellent model by Bizarre.

Oh man! I love that thing! I have a passion for the classic sports / race cars. And this scale does it so well.
Very very nice model of an obscure, but interesting car. I believe Inaltera was formed by Jean Rondeau (who later on went to win the LeMans in the car of his own construction and bearing his name!) and was sponsored by a wallpaper company. I think every Inaltera entered in LeMans over the 3 years finished the race. The Inaltera works team actually finished 4th in 1977. This Chvalley Inaltera chassis powered by Cosworth engine actually finished the LeMans in 13th place in 1978 - no small feat for a privateer team!

No doubt! But, boy, can it get expensive! Not good for an obscessive collector.

Thanks - I hope to whet your appetite even more - I'll post pics of the #2 Rothmans Porsche 962C from LM 1986 tomorrow - hopefully, shortly to arrive, is a Jaguar XJR-6, also from 1986 and a Lancia LC2 & Group 44 Jaguar XJR-5 from 1985. I'm also awaiting a couple of WM Peugeots from 1976 & 1984.

Thanks - I'm trying to track down, at a decent price, the #72 Rondeau M378 from the same race - Rondeau's first car under his own name. I'll also probably get one of the four Inalteras from 1976/77 - Bizarre have released the '76 cars & the '77s will follow.
