Just got a lawn tractor/mower with an electric clutch to engage the mower. I have read the owners manual several times and nowhere does it give instructions on engine speed when engaging the clutch. What is best engine speed to engage the clutch???? It sure happens fast!!! I've been engaging it at about half speed, then accelerating to mowing speed. Is this O.K.???? 'Mo

Yes, and slow the engine back down to 1/2 speed when you disengage the clutch. This will result in longer clutch life.
