That's nothing. Just imagine Evil Superman going to the disco and being a dancing fool.

Sure. It could have been Superman III.

I agree!

However.....if that scene hadn't been deleted from IV, then it would have been a closer race for the worst!

funny thing is - they must have cheucked quite a lot of money at this movie - that fight scene, as lame as it is, must have been an expensive cut.

In movies like this, I end up feeling sorry for the main guy - its like a character and movie series that started out as a serious take on the theme, has degenerated to this pile of poo - a bit like Robocop - and the hero is still trying to play it as though its the early days.

Most sequels seem to follow this pattern and its a shame!

If 'the Main Guy' referred to is Chris Reeve, I'm sure the failure of IV was the least of his worries in the coming years.

That's interesting. I wonder if "Bizarro" was supposed to be Luthor's first attempt at a bad guy to defeat Supes? Or maybe that was prior to some sort of re-write of the script?

IIRC, the "Bizarro" was referred to in the comics adaptation as the first "Nuclear Man."
