sounds rich, mine always ran rich. does it idle ok ?? if so lean the high side a quarter turn at a time. is it old, or did you get it new ?? does it still have good compression ?? if its old it could be rebuild time maybe ? i have some new in bag 46 parts if ya ever need any, got header gaskets, clutch shoes and a new take off head.

no its new i would only have 10-15 tanks of fuel threw it, has really good compression, i think it might have been a fuel line problem, had a leak around an inline primer i had in it which was puttin air into the fuel lines... its raining today so i havent gotten to try it yet... thanks for the input, and if i ever need parts ill keep you in mind

thats barely broke in for that motor. get rid of the old .21 fuel tank, and get the primerless tank, i have a bounch of those too if you dont have a hobbyshop local !! are you keeping an eye on head temsp too ?? that 46 runs hot, and if you were getting air in the lines, that would make it leaner and even hotter.

the 25 trucks didnt have a primer, like the old 21 trucks. the primer button was always a source of air leaks too.
