Tony,

I heard a rumor that you might move the track over to where the pits are currently located. Is that true? If so I'll be there to help lay carpet and move tables.

Chris,
We have looked hard at a way of changing the track layout. There are big problems with everything layout we look at. At this time we are not going to change the layout. There are several more reasons behind that decison too.
I will be working on the track on Tuesday and Thursday nights until we open Sept 15th. Everybody is welcome to come by and see me.

We will going start out allowing the 13.5 brushless in the On-Road stock classes. Also we will allow the Lipo as long as weight is added to make up for the lighter weight. We are still thinking about what to do in the Off-Road classes. We are going to wait and see how many people wants to run it in the trucks.

To anyone that wants to get into off road carpet racing here at WMRC or just looking for a buggy. I have an extra Losi BK2 1/10 scale buggy roller for sale. I want to get my $90 back out of it. It will come with a body and complete set of used off road rubber tires. I do not have any extra foam tires that you will need to run on carpet. 2-3700MhA and 1-3800MhA batteries. This is a local sale for someone looking to race here at WMRC. If you’re new to RC Racing or just want to run in the buggy class, this is for you. I will have it with me when the track opens for winter racing. Or upon request, I can bring it down to WMRC on Tuesdays practice or Thursday night during the on road practice

Sombody else broke my LOSI for the first time all summer,They landed on top of it going over a huge Double Double. My transmission took the hit since I was full throttle when it landed with his buggy on top of my truck. The diff. gear broke and the truck wouldn't go any more.I was impressed it didn't break anything else.It has really held up to a good beating of 1/8 scale buggys.

Jim, I'm so sorry. I was there from 4 to a little after 7 looking at the walls so I decided nobody was coming and went home. Its hard for me to set there until 9pm and have nobody show up. It does happen a lot. Its still too nice outside for most people to race indoors yet and I know it will be slow until it get cold. Feel free to call me anytime.

I have a few questions. Is anyone using lipo batteries in stock class? I dont want to spend the money and a charger and battery if I dont have to. Also is anyone running the new losi truck indoors? I see it has a longer chassi and I was wondering how well it worked indoors.

dido41
09-20-2007, 08:16 AM
last i heard they are going to mix lipo and or 13.5 in with the stock class unless there is enough to put into there own class. Tony run lipo and 13.5 in stock last weekend.

good tune and strong batteries you can out run a 13.5 with lipos. but i guess the only way to find out is to bring it on out for some fun racing. last year most of the guys went back to the brush motor because they were faster.

If you have a sintered rotor and play w/ the esc settings AND gear properly, a 13.5 will smoke any 27t. The tough part is the gearing.
