the florida oval series made it's annual stop at superior hobbies in orlando floirda for round four of the best of six series.

JPH RACING pro 19 turn was first up.
troy(dude) meredith is proving he is the man to beat in 19 turn this year.troy has realy turned up the heat since the snowbirds and has not looked back. troy took the lead from tom pedano at the 2 minute mark and never gave it up. tom pedano took the TQ honors and second place followed by johny dye of orlando and keith russel. great job guys and the racing was super clean and i saw alot of respect for the other drivers today! in 100 deg weather the attitudes were great! i want to point out that johnny dye and keith russel have realy gotten on track and are running well at every race. it's great to see forward progress by alot of racers in the series. congrats to all you guys for a clean main!

BSR SPORTSMAN 19 TURN:
alot of the regular front runners have disapeared and have been replaced with another group of great racers. dewayne yeomans took TQ honors and the win in sportsman 19 followed by darrell taylor from tampa bay and kal southworth also from the tampa area finishing fourth was mtr regular and fan favorite mike dispenza! looks like dewayne will be moving onto another class after this year. dewaynes 47 lap run in the main would have put him fourth in the A main of the pro class! i think i hear a cherry tree falling somewhere?

RC4LESS STOCK:

hobby world regular and car number thief (41) tom marlowe took TQ honors and the win in stock! followed by keith 9transponder) russell and mark (trouble) abbott...great race guys

DARKSIDE 12TH SCALE 19 TURN:

the last few races have not been kind to mike (mr.12th scale) bean...mike was out to prove he is still the man to beat in 12th scale. mike took TQ honors and the hard fought win from russ(no fuss) smith russ was followed by jim(the diamond) fuller in third...this was one of the best 12th scale races i have seen in a long time! russ and mike ran hard and clean the entire race! great job all of you guys for a great race!

PRO MATCH NOVICE:

the novice class is always great to watch and watching the proud fathers is even better!

there are no winners or losers in novice and today was no exception...
aren biala took the win and amy(pms)phillips took a close second. great job guys

NOVAK 10.5 CLASS:
this has become the premiere class of the series with all the hot dogs in this race! billy(smoke)bruce took TQ honors with a great car(ksg) but did not have any love in the main...dave(focker) puliafico took a hard fought win followed by billy and chris lawson! chris has had a tough time in 10.5 but is getting things figured out quickly! steve (the other)pedano took fourth followed by mike(the other) bruce in 5th...awesome day of racing!

novak 13.5 class(promoters class)
we only had two entries in what i think will be a popular class in 2008

taking the TQ and win was stoney mullins followed by eugen biala.

nastruck 19 turn (promoters class) had 4 entries with TQ going to izzy(fsear)santiago.izzy had trouble in the main and sam anderson was there to take advantage of it! sam took the win followed by dave(rent a ride)vanthoff and izzy in third.
