I love these guys! But even the best cars need a little tweaking from time to time. I thought this was a great casting, but I liked the chrome Cragers from the "custom" version. So I did a little swapping, which also included the red interior, and BAM! I have a new car!

I thought this look worked better with black street version. This other combo also made for a great looking white version as well, but more on that later!
Don't worry, I still have the originals in a display case un altered.

I finished it off with a quick repackage with the new photo card. Hope you guys like it. I see very few people customize the Greenlights. Of course that may be because they are pretty darn cool to start with! :thumbsup:

Ive customized several Greenlights . More wheel swaps than body mods . But here are a couple Ive done .. Roof swaps ... The 67 Coronet hdtp , I repainted teal blue . Ive done several more . I custom painted a 71 Charger purple , now I see set 4 has a purple Charger .......

I like em' all. But I have to tell you that the yellow Stang' really hit me. I love that thing! Very nice work. I am glad to see I am not alone. Thanks for posting them.

You can! Unlike Edseldave, mine are easy! He is putting a lot more talent into his work with painting, body mods, roof swaps, etc. so you have to move up to that level. But all mine in these post are just simple chassy, tire, interior swaps.

Cut the package open around the three lower outside edges, work out the car, drill out the rivets in the bottom, make your changes and glue it all back together.

Give it a try and post some pics for us. You will do great!

The new Mustang just doesn't do it for me due to the headlights. They seem to wander out in different directions much like Marty Feldman's eyes! :freak:

I scrolled up and looked at the #55 road racer and laughed outloud when I saw it! Thanks so much, I will never look at those lights the same way again!

Nothing against Mustangs, since I own an '06 GT, but the Greenlight version has Marty Feldman eyes... Should of had "Betty Davis Eyes".
