Hello

I have a problem with my brushless system. The setup is a Lehner 1930 7-turn with a BK Micro running on 14 cells. The problem is that when i squeeze the throttle, the motor wont start spinning until about 50% of the trigger pull. I've tried reprogramming the controller but it didnt fix the problem. Also, after only running for about 3 minutes, the batteries and all the wires are unusually hot.

Controller, Motor, or wires/connections? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

nelly, it sounds like you have a short in the winds on the stator coil. check and make sure the motor screws you are using arent long enough to make contact or push aagainst the winds of the coil. Just look inside the motor screw holes and you will either see winds,a cardboard divider, or a blind hole , I have never ran a lehner, so I dont know which method/ setup they use.
