Chico's R/C Speedway August Racing Schedule

Here are our scheduled events for the month of August. Effective this weekend thru the end of August we are moving our racing start time up to 7pm with the track being open for practice at 6pm. Just trying to start a little later and preserve the track some from the heat of summer.
Sat. Aug 4th- Regular club races.
Sat. Aug. 11th- Regular club races, twin A-Mains for Big Block EDM.
Wed. Aug. 15th- Regular club races, twin A-Mains for Pro Truck. start time 6 pm.
Sat. Aug. 18th- closed, due to WDRA races at Redneck R/C
Sun. Aug. 19th- Regular club races. start time 6 pm.
Sat. Aug. 25th- First annual "Champions Classic", triple 25 lap A-Mains for Big Block EDM, 75 Lap A-Main for Pro Trucks, and a 75 Lap A-Main for the first race for the Empire State Dirt Late Models. This will be the last week of the 2007 points season with the track champions being crowned at the end of the evening.
We are proud to announce the start of a new class at our speedway in the Empire State Dirt Late Models. It has been in the making all summer with talks to many racers and track promotors about starting up this class and putting together a series this winter in New York State. The race on the 25th will be the first race run at our speedway and hopefully with-in the next few months we can put together a schedule for a series. see the other post for rules and general class info.
