You gotta love Pixar.
These images are from their next film Wall-e. They were generated in-house during pre-production, and are inspired by the old Tomorrowland posters. The studio marketing department liked them so much they decided to incorporate them into the advance ad campaign.
I’ve seen the first twenty minutes of this picture, and it is visually amazing. Pixar is really pushing the envelope on this one in terms of what audiences have come to expect from an animated film (did I mention there’s no dialogue)?
So far my favorite film of the decade has been The Incredibles. If Wall-e comes together half as well as that movie did we’re in for a real treat.
