I was told that there are about 46 or so cars total, and that the Sprint class is one of, if not the biggest class.

Scott:
You are correct, the sprint class was the biggest class with 14 entries. It was also a very tight class with all cars turning laps around 5.8 to 6.0 if I remember correctly. One of the finest groups of sprint cars and drivers I have ever raced with. Heats were run with no or very few cautions. I shot my self in the foot in hot laps for the B main and took myself out of competion. Brain fart put me into the wall and I should have ask fo a 5 minute delay so I could look the car over and fix it but I did not think of it. I had just told my self to slow down and get ready for the race. Did not want to take any chances with a great running car and then I smack the wall and go flipping down the track. Oh well.
The DFW track is an awesome facility and the races were run smoothly and efficently. I heard no one complain about anything. No whinning and crying as there was nothing but fun to be had.
Thanks to WCM for the beef brisket sandwiches and chips and such. Thanks to all the DFW crew for one of if not the best run race I have ever attended. The group of people down there were just great. I just wish it was not a 16 hour drive. Thanks to all the manufactures for there support for the series, they donated some nice things for qsac to give away to the membership and not just those that attended the NCS series.
Reece. You should have been with us, it is as they say every thing is Bigger in Texas, What racks we saw, you missed em boy...

For those that planned on going and for whatever reason didn't make it , you missed one heck of a good time . The racing was fast , close and clean . The track crew that ran the race did a fine job of keeping things moving smoothly all weekend . We all got treated to beef brisket sandwiches and chips by Rick of WCM and Clyde for a couple days . Fred and I even joined a few of the local guys to watch a race at a local track Sat night . They showed us a good time and the racing there was pretty good with alot of action . My personal final results of the race wasn't too good , to put it in a nut shell and to make a long story short , I messed up . Qualified second and led a few laps in the A . Again , a big thanks to the manufactures , the track crew and the local Texas group of racers . Some day we'll get back there to race with you .
