the more the merrier proceeds from this race are for the hughes family

Tim Mc
08-01-2007, 09:46 PM
The proceeds are given to the family for his daughter's trust fund.

You are all invited!!!!

The race for 1/4 scales are run under sportsman rules. If trucks come then we'll run that class under truck rules. :)

We intended the race to have a unique format inwhich the first year it did. With other classes added, the day was filled with all types of racing. Last year we invited nitro and electric pan classes. This opened up the door for several racers of those classes to move into 1/4 scale. I would like to see a test drive session sorta like we had last year during the day.

The Hughes family has attended this race each year and did cook an awesome meal for the racers last year!! These are great folks to be around as are LPR racers!!!

No membership of any type...Smiles and Laughter are the only requirements!

See ya there
Tim

Ok guys, in order to get trophies made up for the BHASC, we will need to know what classes are racing.

1/4 scale - for sure

What else?

Echeconnee
09-20-2007, 05:22 PM
What classes in Quarter scale? Sportsman, Nastrack, GN? The .12 Nitro cars will be there for sure. We will have 4 from Macon.

Echeconnee
09-20-2007, 05:24 PM
I wish I could talk our electric guys into coming over to race. Is anyone else considering an electric class? I doubt I will run electric this year as I will be in Nitro and q-scale

Tim Mc
09-20-2007, 05:54 PM
The race is open to electric, nitro and 1/4 scale. We just need some kind of commitment to the classes.

Quarterscale will be running Sportsman rules as usual. The largest charity event in the country for 1/4 scales run under sportsman rules. Many GN, Sprint and truck racers attend this race without hesitation to the SP rules. Our race should be no different.

We are looking to have good racing, meet new faces, visit old friends and over all JUST HAVE FUN!

Tim Mc
09-25-2007, 10:27 PM
As it appears now, there will be 1/4 scale & .12 pan. If anyone knows of another class that plans to race, we need to know asap. We have to make arrangements.
