Well then, I hope that they are your gateway to many years of happy collecting! :)

I hope MB get prettier wheels though but I like their "realisiticness"

Jason, you can't beat the quality of the newer MBs for the price. Keep collecting and good luck with future hunts.

Whats your opinion for Matchbox vs Hot Wheels?

Lotus Elise/Exige pwns all, save a BMW M3, therefore MB pwns HW.

I'm leaning more to collecting MB ---- for 1 they are easier to locate --- It did take a while to find the new Rollback but i got one!! More then i can say for any T Hunts or some of this other stuff HW has been releasing.

The superfast?? I have seen 3 of them on my last visit to WM. I will quit on searching for HW until September because then there might be less scalpers. Matchbox rulez and there arent MB Th so there are not that many MB scalpers :dude:

I think we're talking about the castings in general.

I've been considering buying only MBs as the hot wheels variation train is too much for me. In the last couple years alone, I've bought over 300 new hot wheels with most being muscle cars and castings of real autos. These were of cars that I did want and liked. With that said, MB does not have the problem that HW has with cartoonish looking models. No other toy brand puts the detail into their toy cars that MB does for the price of 97 cents, surpassing HWs in recent years. MB may offer fewer models and finding them can be sporadic unlike HWs, but they (MB) do seem to be going in the right direction of casting realistic cars. MB also puts the scale on the base of their diecast which is another plus as well.

Also as mentioned above, Scalpers and collectors beat me to all the T-Hunts in my area. I've been collecting hot wheels for the better part of two decades and still have yet to see a T-Hunt on the pegs in my area stores. Knowing I'll most likely never see a T-Hunt on the pegs takes the fun out of finding HWs.

That's my 2 cents on the subject.
