i just recently purchased a WD ext hard drive, and was wondering if there is any way to change the icon the appears in my computer. the current icon is just a whit rectangle outline next to the title. is there any way to change it to the same hard drive icon as my c: drive icon (little pic of hard drive). the drive works fine, the icon being messed up just bothers me to no end :freak:

That does not change it. I do not think there is an way to change it. You should not be experiencing that white square. Either you don't have XP, or you have an weird GFX.
