I have a 2000 John Deere Trail Gator which has a Kawasaki FD-620 engine. It's 617 cc if that matters. Anyway it won't start. The battery is good. Just makes no sound at all when I turn the key. I think it's the starter but I dont know where to find the starter. Is it the first thing that the lead off the battery is connected to? Please help.

If it's an small engine it's probably by the recoil. Probably the stator's gone out...
