I visited a fellow collector about 6 weeks ago, and this item is his favourite diecast of all time. The pride of his collection is an excellent boxed late issue of the M9 with the rarer gray (not silver ) trailer but with GRAY not the standard blue opening rear doors - I am not an expert in anyway but I have never noticed gray doors before, always dark Tippax blue to match the tractor unit. How rare are these trailer body gray REAR DOORS?? are they rarer than the orange label version which my books indicate as being rarest??
I was inspired by his fleet of Cooper-Jarrett to buy my own - the 2 yellow label trailers came a couple of weeks ago and the complete rig with playworn but uncommon orange labels came this week, grand total all inclusive of shipping $16 - very fair for this day and age! they are fun to hookup and drive, more fun than Hotwheels steering rigs ;) Simple pleasures are the best!
