Gonna run Orion Lipo Batteries. Which one is better 3200 mah or 4800 mah for oval racing? Also will they work with the Novak gtb speed control (not the 4 cell)

they are the same cells Just 2 more cells in the 4800 I think only open mod will be the only class that the 4800's will be legal in

The 3200 is fine for most all oval racing. We have an 3200 with 10.5 4 min. wide open on a track that kills a good 4-cell mod pack. We have been running the 3200/17.5 on a 190' flat track in 4min. only using 1300-1400 MAH.
Hope this helps some 3200 is good for what you need I would think.

Have run the 3200 w/GTB and 5.5 motor for 4 mins. with no problems other than being to Damm FAST!

We'll be using the 3200's exclusively in the future in our SWTour series (looking at 3 possible B/L w/ LIPO classes in '08)

Everything except for what we will call our "STUPID FAST MOD" class will use 3200's and go 5 minutes. So far the testing has been a lot of fun...and we should have some more test info this weekend if we get the time to mix it in w/ our SWTout **Allstar Shootout** @ the ENCINO VELODROME - presented by NOVAK | DBAnderson Technologies | Xtreme RC Car Magazine.

Go with the 3200 it will fit and 6 cell tray without any problems. The bottom of the battery is designed to look like a 6 cell battery

Thanks Guys, Someone told me one time that if I go lipo I had to get the 4 cell speed control. So you guys are saying that I can use my existing GTB to run it? Thanks for the info guys.

Yeah you can run either one. GTB or 4-cell GTB will be fine!!!
