Howdy folks! Visiting from the Model side of the moon and I need some advice on SERVO'S.
I have a project that has a door thats movement will be controlled by a JR Sport SM15 micro servo. 4 to 6V.
A buddy of mine is going to program a chip to control the direction and voltage so all I need to do is hit a momentary button once for open, again for close....the chip will control for how long the motor will turn in iether direction etc etc.
NOW the QUESTION: I picked up my servo at my local Hobby store today and when I tried to apply voltage in different combinations it would go one way but the other direction was choppy and not complete.
Is there more to controling servo's than just reversing the polarity???
