http://www.atlasrr.com/Trackmisc/fordfairmont.htm
is available in HO and N scale,, if 1/87 is for HO, what means the N scale
Did MotorMax Fresh cherries will made this in 1/60? I like to know, before to make my own custom creation of Ford Fairmont
The Atlas Ford Fairmont is nice, but imagine if Fresh cherries make that in 1/60, will be an amazing and awesome diecast car

The only Fairmont I know of done in the 1/60-1/64 scale range was made in the early 1980's by Hot Wheels and was of the Futura Coupe variety. It wasn't too bad for a Hot Wheels car in detail aspects but had tampos all over it and a non-stock rear spoiler. I still think this would make a great addition to the FC lineup in 1/60 scale. I remember when these cars were everywhere, and my brother-in-law owned a 2-dr sedan in that typical 70's brown with chamois interior. He always referred to it as the "squaremont" because it was so boxy looking. I personally always thought the 78-81 Malibu coupes were far prettier and better proportioned, though they were also boxy. then again, since I own a 79 Malibu coupe, I suppose I am biased....

A little bland for my taste but it has possibilities. Fire Chief, police, PIP etc. It's pretty boxy.

Taxi?
The 1st cab co. I ever worked for in 1993 (Fairway Taxi, RIP, gone but not forgotten) had a fleet of 40 cars, made up entirely of Ford Fairmonts/Mercury Zephyrs (sedans and wagons) + a dozen parts cars , when fairway went under, I remember seeing old red beat to hell Fairmonts all over the poorer sections of town, the rumour was he sold them, 1 to a customer, to families who couldn't buy a car otherwise, for $25 each.

Dear All:
Atlas also will make the Fairmont Station Wagon; photos are already avaliable at some HO sites. The model is terrific.
