On Aug 4th we are going to have a 13.5 Shootout as a farewell race for Pat Simkins who is moving to Boston.
Racing will probably start at 2:00 with 3 qualifiers and a main. I was thinking of having some sort of race later for the guys who want to stay and run a little longer, (like the local diehards) for a 12 or more car shootout for some cash for the winner and maybe something for the top 2 people who finish higher than they qualified. Maybe run it 6 mins or 60-75 laps. it would be different but may be a lot of fun. It may be brutal also!
Let me know your opinions and I'm sure you all have one, and I WILL DECIDE WHAT TO DO lol

Don't get too brutal...I need Pat to have a working car when he get's out here...I need brushless help and I'm leaning on Pat for it ;) .

See you soon,
Bret

LOL you'll probably be kicking my butt by your second week running BL! To be honest 4300 is fastest enough now that I am running short on driving talent to do well in that class.

Tomorrow is the big race, we are not going to do a rollout rule, to much screwing around to tech it. We are going to run 10 guys in the Shootout race, to be determined by qualifing. We could run more, but I don't think there is enough room on the drivers stand. Well, I guess Lloyd can stand on the ground, he's used to standing in the back.
Maybe Lance can stand in turn 2 on the other side of the track......
See Ya'aaalllll tomorrow.

It was great to see everyone at the track today! I'm sorry mother nature didn't cooperate. I think it would've been a great race. Nonetheless it's still a good time benchracing and hanging out!

Thanks for the send off! I'll miss racing with everyone on weekly basis. Hopefully I'll see most everyone at least a few times this winter.

Good Luck Pat, it's been fun racing with you.

I agree with you on the mother nature thing, I would like to have had more time to get comfortable on your track.

See you this winter.
