View Full Version : 2007 Paul Heitz Memorial Race @ Trax70 on Aug 5th
Goodwrench29 07-22-2007, 09:50 AM This years event should be the best one yet. We have some great sponsors this year IRS, BSR, CRC, Promatch Batteries, and should have more this week. The format will be 3 heats and a main with a start time of 12:00pm. The classes will be 13.5, 10.5 (4300), Spec Truck, and Stock. Trophies will be given for the top three in 13.5, 10.5, Spec Truck and the winner of stock. Entry fee is $20 for the first class and $15 for the second class. We will also have the Trax70 Stock Motor Challenge. I will have a fantom dyno at the track and the entry fee for this is $1.00 per motor with all the proceeds going to the Victory Junction Camp in Paul Heitz's memory. The winner will be determined by the Max Power (Watts), in case of a tie we will then look at RPM and then if needed Torque. The winner receives an award and the title of the 2007 Trax70 Stock Motor Challenge Champion, so get all your stock motors out for a great cause. We will also have a 50/50 with half the proceeds of that going to the Victory Junction Camp as well. We will also have Burgers and Hotdogs available the day of the race. The warmup race will be next Sunday July 29th. Any questions just give me an email Charlie@Trax70.com See you all there!

Goodwrench29 07-30-2007, 04:26 PM Early weather reports for Sunday look good. Should be a great day of racing.
bologna 07-30-2007, 05:48 PM could you tell me if the shop has pinions in the 50 to 55 tooth range???
Jamie Hanson 07-30-2007, 06:12 PM Sunday is almost here... What do I need to know to race here. Tires, classes? Talk to me!
Goodwrench29 07-30-2007, 09:20 PM Bologna, we got the PRS pinions from 50 thru 55.
Jamie, finally making the trip:thumbsup: , very cool, its a great place to race. For 13.5 I've been running a gold net "S" RF, wide blue net "S" RR, narrow green prolite "L" LR, green prolite "L" LF. I'm not sure about 10.5 but I think going with a blue net "S" RF might help the car turn better due to the faster speeds. The classes are 4-Cell Stock, 13.5, 10.5, and Spec Truck.
jmcminn 07-31-2007, 06:54 PM any practice on Sat?

Goodwrench29 08-05-2007, 10:06 PM Great day of racing today. I will have a full race rundown and the results posted tomorrow.
Goodwrench29 08-06-2007, 11:33 PM Results are posted. Check out www.trax70.com (http://www.trax70.com/) and click on race results in the left corner. We were able to raise $167.00 in Paul's honor for the Victory Junction Camp. I would also like to personally thank Dave Irrgang, he put up his race entry fee and also his winnings of the 50/50 into the memorial fund, the best single thing I've seen in RC racing so far. Also, Alan Behler takes the Trax70 stock motor challenge champion title, he won with a max power of 73.57 which on that dyno is AWESOME!! Thanks to all the race sponsors IRS, BSR, CRC, and Promatch batteries for all the great giveaways. Also, congrats to all the winners in yesterdays event......
13.5 Brushless Barry Braman
4 Cell Stock Steve Nye
Spec Truck Dan White
Alan Behler now owns the 13.5 track record with a 38 in 4:02
Diff Dude 08-07-2007, 09:34 AM Charlie,
