Aurora Falcon hardtops and convertibles
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We are opening up preorders on our remake of the Aurora Falcon and we will
also be coming out with convertibles, made to fit the Aurora T-Jet chassis.
These are scheduled to be released mid to late September.

The colors for the hardtops will be:
yellow body, red interior, black top
white body, red interior, black top
white body, dk blue interior, lt blue top
turquoise body, grey interior, black top
green body, lt green interior, green top
grey body, red interior, black top
red body, black interior, black top
unassembled kits with chrome bumpers
The colors for the convertibles are:
yellow body, red boot, white floors, red seats
white body, red floors, red boot, black seats
white body, dk blue floor, lt blue boot, lt blue seats
turquoise body, grey floor, black boot, black seats
green body, lt green floors, green boot, green seats
grey body, red floor, black boot, black seats
red body, white floor, black boot, red seats
unassembled kits with chrome bumpers, driver and passenger figures
all painted and assembled convertible cars will include a painted male and
female driver and passenger figure. Unassembled kits will include these 2
figures but they will be unpainted.
Prepaid preorder price on the Falcons is $9.99/car and $8.99/kit. The delivery date for these cars is mid to late Septemberl and there will be lots of shows coming up. If I can push the factory we might even have these in time for Autofest in Indiana...

AF/X 55 Sedan & Convertible ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We are making some small adjustments to the tooling on the Dash 55's and
expect to approve the production samples this week. Due to this, the
delivery date has been pushed back 2 weeks to mid August.
What we have discovered from the early prototypes is that this body will fit
the older AFX chassis perfectly. The use of the standard O-Ring tire is
recomended. If using a JL/AW/RC2 chassis, there is so much slop in the
front axle that a 10mm or 11mm tire is required. If using our body with a
Tomy chassis with body clip, some minor modification to the underside of
the front bumper will be needed for shoe holder clearance. The body looks
killer mounted on the Tomy chassis!

We've added a white pearl hardtop to the mix. See attached (that's the
