I figured I'd post a kudos attaboy great job type message. I called an order into NJ Nostalgia Hobby (Joe Correa) last Thursday. I had no idea of exactly what I needed. (I was the typical retailer's nightmare!!)... I had "sort of" figured out what this custom I'm working on needed and without Joe's kind professional service, I would not have ended up buying anything. I needed some axles, wheels, and tires (a type I never ordered before) and Joe went way out of his way to make sure I got what I needed. I explained what I was aiming for and Joe took over from there. His experience and EXCELLENT service were of the highest order. He explained what he had, gave me choices within that group of items, and made some recommendations of his own. He never once made me feel as though I had to know as much as he did. It's a pretty long drive for me to get there 2-3 hours one way, so this time calling the order in was my only option. I offer to the group, that if you need anything, Joe probably either has it or can get it. His prices are fair and his selection is one of the finest around. If you are ever in the NJ area (Scotch Plains) stop in. He has in-store racing on his track (HO or big cars depends on time of year I think), parts galore, many brands, and even some older vintage cars for sale. The shop is a throw-back to the good old days of hobby shops. My order left his store the same day I ordered it and UPS dropped it off the next day (Friday UPS Gound). Try getting that service from the Post Office!!! Needless to say, I am thrilled with what I received.
Thanks Joe, you add more to the enjoyment and longevity of this hobby than you'll ever know!!!
