I have just scored this fine 8b with its original tracks to fill a gap in my collection.This is one of the harder castings to find in reasonable condition, and I am lucky enough to also have the 18b and 18c to park with it. Oddly enough I had the chance to buy this 8b 3 or 4 years ago with all of the cars shown in the bottom photo except the 18b - they were all 1 childhood collection and being offered by a regular market trader that I have seen many dozens of times this past 3 or 4 years.Anyway I didnt have enough cash for all that day all those years ago so I left the 8b, which the guy buried somewhere and rediscovered only a few weeks ago.So now they are re-united, and apparently the only item from the colllection I missed was a blue Lesney cement mixer with orange wheels which sold in the hour before I grabbed this 8b.Not mint but lightly playworn and all acquired for pennies :dude: I am happy with the slow but steady way my collection grows
