This Ford Capri design was Ford of Englandīs answer to the Mustang. The real deal was built in the USA, UK and Germany and fitted with various local designs of engine ranging from 1300cc to 3 litre. My favourite of the many castings available is the Solido 1972 issue authentic Camel racer - this car in 1:1 was built in Germany and had some competition success.Also in the picture is the more recent Solido casting and the Hongwell which has been sold allover the world over the past 5 years.
Share your favourite Capris here - because apart from 1960s Mustangs, VW Beetles and both old and new Mini Coopers, the Capri has probably been cast by more different companies
