Did The Accord will be the notchback or hatchback version? and the Maverick the 2 dr or 4 dr?

I have the 1982 Honda accord sedan in silver, from Majorette, customized to look like the real car, did anyone like to see this ´82 accord from Majorette?

I haven't then again after the first wave of cars at Wally's that literally flew off the shelves, I have not seen ANY FC 1:87th scale. There is another brand that is cool and even has sets with trailers but I'm really confused why no more 1:87th for FC?

I have seen the photos on the website, and it looks like Motormax will offer inferior molds this time. I haven't seen any mirrors on the Hornet, Mustang, and Maverick and it does really take away their looks to me. Come on Motormax, don't take a step backward! Always strive to improve the product. Now, these will be offered for 4.50 a pop at local hobby shops for something that should be automatically there.

VITO:
I saw the 1/64 versions in the store, and after looking at all the models in 1/64 I believe the ones on the website are of the 1/64 and not the 1/87's. None of the 1/64's have mirrors and all of the 1/87's do. I think will be happy with the new ones as well.

I saw the new 1/87 scale cars.. at least the Sportsroof and the Hornet, also new colors of old castings! Black Gremlin, a new color Pacer (forgot), and TWO new colors on the Pinto Wagon! Some of the others may have had new colors too.. Shame on Motormax for having so long between new releases, I forgot what they already made them in so I am sure I might have left some behind that I didn't have yet.

I just purchased the new AMC Hornet and Mustang, they were pretty nice castings. My biggest complaint is the tires, I wish they were more narrow! The mirrors not being there didn't matter as much as I thought it would. Overall, they are a fun concept and will look good on the train layout.

Now, can we please have the original Ford Taurus and Explorer?

The new stock disappeared as soon as the public had access to it.

Dear All:

Motormax can not keep these in stock; they literally fly of the shelfs. No wonder Mattel is attempting to compete at this scale as well. Now, if the Matchboxes would be done in HO.....

Up to now, I did liked Motormax efforts in 1/87.

You do know Matchbox is owned by Mattel now, right?

Those Hot Wheels were going $15 a shot on eBay when they came out limited issue, now they're in every Wal-mart I look in.

So the Mustang and Hornet are out? Will have to look for them. So cheap in Wally the hobby shop could just get their stock there.

If you do get desperate, the Walthers train catalog lists them, so you should be able to order from them. Or hit eBay.

Dear Pontiac59:

That is true, but as of now, Mattel wised up and made Matchbox the 'serious' (not many customs) car line and Hot Wheels the custom car line. Hence, I would like to see Matchboxes in 1/87 scale. Matchbox, with the new arrangements from Mattel, is selling very well; proof that Blings and other oddities have a limited market, if any.

One weird thing.. one local Wal-Mart got them in, the other clearnance the whole line on 1/87....

slythorne,

What was clearanced, Motormax or Hot Wheels? I have never seen the Fresh Cherries on clearance yet because they seem to do well at the locations that carry them in Chicagoland.

If one particular Walmart is canceling its entire line of HO it could be because of employees hoarding the vehicles and selling them on E-Bay. I have heard this and hopefully it's a very isolated practice.

Wal-mart primarily discounts things on a store-to-store basis following local trends. I've followed some other items in various local stores and some still have the same thing at full price I've bought in others for like 75% off.

I have yet to see the new HO - I need to check the closest store, the far away one I checked twice and they don't seem to have sold any of the case that's on the shelf now. I'm thinking when a new case gets put out, the new cars will be in it.

I do wish they'd do what Malibu International did with their movie car line - those had been in select stores, as were the Hot Wheels 1/87th, but now both of those are in every store I go to. That (expletive) pickup I searched all over for I could now have a dozen of if I wanted.

I don't even see a 1/87th Hornet listed on ebay this morning.

Dear All:

My local Wal Mart (Panorama City) did not had any HO's - literally - for two months. A couple f weeks ago went there, and there they were, including the ones from Mattel. The box with Reel Rides vehicles was nearly empty (and one could find a box thrown here and there) and the Fresh Cherries was at the bottom of their box. I found only one Hornet and 1971 Mustang and naturally, took them.

Today I will check the stores I know and see what else will pop out in both 1/64 and 1/87.

My local Wally-World has never had the 1/87 scale Fresh Cherris, only the 1/64 and the 1/24 scale model ones  . Have not been here in a month  so only heard of the HW 1/87s today, will have to look. They have most of the others, but I got my AMCs and my Pintos from a hobby dealer at a model train show :( . A set of 1/87s that I did get months ago was a set of modern road working vehicals, from a company called Norscot. They were all Caterpillar brand some of whitch the 1/1 scale ones are working on the HW 175 near here, but there was not a Cat dump truck in the lot, and I am not giving Walthers $15 for one so I will have to do with out, and use a normal dumpper  .

Well my local WW final got in the 1/87 before Xmas, so now I have the Pinto in four colors, the AMC Gremlin in four colors, the Bobcat in two, and the Pacer in two, but I dont plan to buy more Pacers, the real car was junk and i cant see haveing many of them on my model rail road.;)
Would be nice if they would get in the Mustang.
