GMX is Having their very first event. 100ft. banked track starts 6pm. sat. Come one come all.

I sure hope so. If not I'll try to where my old costum from my roller disco days... I look quite daper in it if I do say so myself.

Yep. I am sure John will run any class that has enough cars for a heat. FOAMS ONLY. Not sure if he will run nitro vehicles on Saturday.

Rumor has it the NEOT race in on Aug 11th. Anybody know anything about this?

Yes the NEOT race is Aug 11th, but with only two of you guys making this past Saturdays race, I don't see many of you going to the next one either. I don't think there will be much of a conflict, since the dirt oval crowd doesn't run pancars in the summer. But I hope to see you guys rejoin the tour as it's starts the 2007-2008 season, Sept 22 & 23 at Maximus.

If you don't have any takers, i will run it just to make a class. So there you go, trucks will be there. The track is excellent, banked clay oval :thumbsup:

Ya I just figured with the other guy that mentioned it I'd make it worth his trip. I'm up for running whatever, and have a few rentarides for whatever people want to try.

I may have my late model ready for this race... Anyone with a touring car should come and expierience the clay oval. Garaunteed to have a good time.

Looks like myself and the ladies will be loading up the family truckster and heading down Saturday-as long as the weather is good. I will be running an EDM-

Heads-Up: I have a MINT TC4 with a ton of Factory Team hop ups,
spare parts, tires, etc; for that I was planning on running in the Late Model Class up here, but has never seen dirt-I will bring it with me if anyone is interested-asking $275 for everything-:thumbsup:

Todd good to hear your coming, Weather sounds real good. Hope some of your local competion come too. Fri. we are going to groom track for this big event( just touch up).

Well... GMX's first trophy race is in the books. Damn good night of racing. Big thanks to Romano Conti for saving the track (again) after the monsoons came through the area during the week. The track was smooth like glass and held up all night with no maintenance. Very glad that Todd Putnam & the gang made it down from NY. Nice bunch of people. Sorry I couldn't get to visit with everyone, but that whole "racing" thing kept getting in the way. We'll have to return the favor & come out to your area to race. Thanks to John for hosting the event, and for the trophy's, and for renting the power trowel. Hopefully the word spreads that there is a real nice banked short track in Connecticut that is worth the trip!

Oh yeah, congrats to TP on the A-main win!
