So i was trying to think of something unique to give my dad for his 50th bday. i remember seeing something on hobbytalk were they made a custom package for someone. So... having 3 of the tootsie roll trucks from true grit.. i decided to make my dad a bday car. First i de tampod it. Really easy to do since its a box. Then i did my best and painted 50th & ballons on the roof. I painted the wheels red and put decals on the side. Finally i made a package. Hope you enjoy. This beeing only my 2nd custom.. i think it turned out all right.. probably could have painted it a lil bit better.

I can tell you that I would darn proud to recive it on my 50th!!!! That's a big project to undertake for your second custom, with the custom package and all. I know he will be proud to have it. Heck, i'm proud for you.

Now get started on project #3!

Thanks eveyone. Stang i currently just finished my first diorama. Im going to post pics shortly. I also went to my local hobby store yesterday to stock up on some styrene to make my automotive warehouse. I was a bit surprised when my bill hit over 90 bucks.. Didnt think the plastic would be that much. O well, its money well spent when i get done.
