ok heres the latest: daisy is being re-cast, rube is gone.

the plotline: a new boss takes charge of the reapers. he's a businessman that couldnt care less about the newly dead. the crew isnt happy. reggie and george re-connect when george's latest reap is a kid reggie is in love with.

the movie is going direct to dvd, and the fanbase is creditied for bringing it about in the first place.

Maybe now that Patinkiin has left "Crminal Minds", he will be available for the movie? It won't be the same withut Rube there. As much as the show is about George adapting to her new role in the scheme of things and rediscovering "life" now that she's dead, it's never the same without the proper mentor to guide.

i thoght the same thing until i read the plotline. unfortunatly the whole plot revolves around the change in command, so unless they re-write it so rube comes back at the end, theyre kind of locked into the new guy

Yeah, but, that does not mean you cannot hve Rube there in some way or another. maybe even to see him get "promoted" or what ever should happen.

oh i agree. he's vital, and as they make up the universe theres no reason he cannot return, except for this thing: in the movie "star trek: the search for spock" you couldnt have a lot of nimoy, because the whole plot turned on the fact that he was gone. from the sounds of it, its a similar situation here. myself if i were making it i would have held out till mandy was available or paid what he was asking (unless he absolutly refused.. which i have a hard time imagining, but may be the case).
