Been wanting to do an 18 wheeler for sometime.
I kept thinking about those papier mache Chinese Dragons you see zig zagging in parades with about 10 people inside them.
The cab is from images that came to mind.
Drew the flames and then colorized, stacked, stretched and distorted them in PhotoShop.
Kokopelli on a Gong finishes that look just behind the cab.

The sides, rear and top tell the story and the roof of the cab answers an obvious question.

Charlie sent me the box trailers and being all black and red they required wet sanding.
The cabs just needed stripping.
Grey primer, two coats of Shimrin White followed by two coats of SnowWhite Pearl.
Decals applied and then two coats of Urethane Clear with a heavy dose of Brilliant Gold Pearl-Ex Powder for color shift.

This will be my first Gathering so I'm real curious how these are going to compare to 18 Wheelers the Gathering has had in the past.

These will be on display in my room Thursday, at the Customs Contest Registration both Friday and Saturday along with other Customs, and at the Custom Contest and Seminar on Saturday.

When Charlie alias Crazy840 arrives on Friday they're all his.
