View Full Version : Missing Wings/Spoilers

It has always baffled me about missing wings on the Indy/F1 style bodies for sale on the bay and elsewhere.

Where do they go? I've crashed a few in my day as well but it's not like the things get instantly sucked into a black hole and disappear forever. Have the owners of the broken cars ever heard of glue? Throw the things in a box for some future shlub that may care to try and repair the damage!

Just venting I guess as I see cars on there all the time that I would bid on but I don't have a drawer full of wings waiting to be used and finding the things is about impossible. I don't get it. Anyone got any insight into the mindset?

I thought they went to the same place the TJet mounting screw, or the wheel, or the tire, or the pickup shoe spring/commutator spring go when I drop them. :freak:

they fall into the same black hole that all missing socks, gloves and guitar picks fall into. A deep dark abyss in another dimension

Some day in the future a Spacecraft will arrive, it willbe huge and it will not be bent on earth domination, it will just back up, open the trunk and dump all our missing junk back on us..

Good. I can't wait to get back some of my MAD magazines and those two Detroit Grand Prix programs I lost.
