Okay, folks. here she is.
Started with this:

Nice, but kinda plain (no offense, Jada) Stripped to bare metal, fix up a few bad lines, primer, 3 coats of base coat black, followed by 12 coats of Dupli-Colors Mirage paint (yes, rattle can) 8 coats of clear and wet sanded, rubbed and buffed.....

How did you mask off the bumper, windows, etc? Just like to know because after seing how that came out, maybe I'll start doing it to my cars! :)

This car comes apart very easily. Screwed together. Makes customs so much easier.
Nice job too. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for all the compliments. it means a lot.

Big Lou: bumper??? 96gsfan is right, these Jadas come apart very easily. Headlights, etc, pop right off, windows take a little more effort, drilling out the mounting points. But the Jadas have nice, clean lines and nothing in the way to mess 'em up, like emblems and door handles and junk. The way I like 'em.

Superbird, yeah, about 20 coats. With the Mirage paint, it takes about 8 coats before you start seeing the color changing effect. At certain angles, it looks blue. Turn a little bit, you'll see purple and then kind of a root beer.
It's a bit expensive, though.

Here you can really see the blue, and the kind of marble effect in the paint.

Two Questions:

1. What scale is it?
2. What kind of primer did you use?
