Hey guys I'm lookin into buyin an E-Flite CX-2. I've heard this is the perfect beginners heli but i dont know much about heli's at all. i need your help on this one. any suggestions?

The Blade CX2 is a good heli to start out with. It comes with everything you need right out of box. It comes with a li-po battery (7.2Volts 800mah) and the Balancing Charger and AC Adapter. As you know the blades counter-rotate for easy hovering and flying. The radio also come with the spektrum 2.4 GHz system which is very nice. You will not ever have to worrie about anybody being on your channel. Also the parts are pretty easy to get, and the price on them is not that bad.

Oh my gosh this is exactly what I was looking for. I can't believe someone asked it just as I was joining. To further elaborate is there any other models that would be good to start with. Also what is the price range that I can expect with the diff. models. My son is going to flip this is awesome.

the cx-2 usually sells for around $250.00 at most hobby shops and it seems to have the most upgradeable parts that are readily available

Actually I've seen them usually priced at $189 or so. Great little heli. I have one of them and I love it!
