So last weekend I was on my way back to Syracuse, NY from NYC and decided to stop off in Scranton, PA to see if I could find anything new. I stepped into Target and behold I found the following:

There was also a '56 Ford F-100 in the set, but I didn't pick it up since I already have two in my collection. Now when I saw these, I don't remember seeing these anywhere as coming soon or to be released. As soon as I got home, I checked Jada's website and 1stopdiecast.com to see if these showed up anywhere. To my surprise, they didn't!

You can clearly see from this picture that they were released this year and are wave 11. Does anybody have any info on these! Was I lucky enough to get something before being announced! Cool!!! :thumbsup:


P.S: If anyone else has these and has the Monte Carlo in another color, can you tell me what color it is and if it's solid. I'm not too crazy about the paint job on the one I got if the other one is a solid color, I'd be willing to trade.

These are old news around here. The other color on the Monte is green with 4 ace cards on the sides and hood, better looking than the one you have but still didn't buy it. They are also here in the new packaging.

I found the Monte and the red Camaro last week at Target. I've also seen the Monte with the four cards, but I passed up on it. I looks like I'm the only one totally in love with the Chevy-themed Monte. I love it so much I've been taking it to work with me on my dash and then bringing it home. It's on display next to me 24/7. :D

The trucks are pretty nice as well.

Ok so here is some more info... BTM Wave 11 starting showing up at Targets first. Every so often Jada will send some of the new releases to the major chain stores first... just to keep them happy. I was only able to find 8 of the 12 cars when they first started to show up. The 4 cars in the left of the picture (Green Monte, Silver Camaro Concept and both Challenger concepts) were the cars that I could not find on the "old" blisters. If anyone has seen any of these 4 in the old blisters then please post it here. Then all 12 cars started to surface in the "new" blisters. We should start seeing these at online retails soon.

Finally found the red Camaro today.I've got them all now but the concept Camaros and Challengers. Seen both a couple times but havent convinced myself to buy them yet.Did buy extras of the Monte's so I could have one sealed and one to open.Havent been so lucky with the Camaros. Got 3 of the blue and only 1 red.Since they have screwd on bases I think I'm going to convert some of the street versions to race and race to street. ;)

Those look nice .. this coming from a NASCAR collector ... pretty soon to be Ex-NASCAR collector . ( im switching to Muscle Machines )
