As i get more and more cars, i need more room to display them. I was wondering if anyone knows of a place that sells big(100 car) Display cases for 1/64 scale at a good price.

Thanks

Ryan

Yes,
Try Carney Plastics, Giovanni Plastics for starters. Google them and see what they have.

I have 3 Giovanni 108 1:64 Scale Cases with mirrored backs. I like them a lot. But you be the judge as others will recommend others as well. Good luck with you hunt, olesarge90/Gill

And welcome to HT!

The link to Carney is just to your right. They are fine HT sponsers. I have cases from both, and they both build great products.

But do remember, you get what you pay for. So befor you buy a cheap case, think about building one yourself. I have several LARGE home made cases with plexi-glass fronts, and I have been pretty happy with the look and performance of those as well.

Good Luck!

You can make your own display cases for a small fraction of the cost of buying them... I make two types, floor cases 2 ft. by 4 ft. which holds about 75 cars each, 150 if you put them in the clear boxes and stack two in a square... Then I make the wall shadow boxes that is 4 ft. by 8 ft. that holds 450 to 500 cars...

I recently started making these cases...this size only holds 48, but I am going to be doing custom sizes as well. This one is made of walnut with a mirror back, but I can make them out of any other species as well.

As far as the bought cases. Would Muscle Machines fit in those?

I have over 300 Muscle Machines in Giavonni 108-car cases & every one has fit inside the cubes. The 30-car Giavonni cases are a different story, though. Some of the slightly longer MMs, such as the '70 Olds 442 & '69 Charger Daytona, won't fit in these cases. The cubes are slightly smaller on the 30-car cases. :)

thanks a bunch! I have no more wall room like I did in the old house so the only way for me to now enjoy these is to open them and put them in a display case. Nice to know it's possible :)
