Here is my first attempt at doing anything with photoshop.
The first shot is a screen grab of a typical Viper launch.
This shot never looked 'finished' to me.
The idea behind the shot was that of looking down the side of a flightpod.
The angle supports this idea, however there are 'pieces' missing from the angle of the shot.
Here in the second shot is how it seems to me that the shot should have been finished based on the Galactica miniature. Above and below the trench are side shots of the Pegasus that I twisted to fit the angle of this shot.
I also resized the vipers to support the 6080 foot length (they weren't that far off already).
This is a resave of a large jpg that was too big of a file size to fit on these boards.....so it seems like some of the detail is lost (like in the starfield) in the resave.
Hope you guys like it. I'm curious to see what everyone thinks.
