A release from a French market partwork by Altaya of the last Matra badged car.

The Murena, like its predecessor the Bagheera, was a mid-engined sports coupe and used engines from the contemporary Talbot (ex-Simca) cars. The interesting thing about the Bagheera & Murena was that they were three seaters - the driver sat on the left, one passenger in the middle and the second on the right.

That looks like a fine model of a sharp looking car. Isn't the Murena what you own in 1/1? Nice color on this one.

Thanks - how did you remember I've got a 1:1?! - different colour though.

I just always remember interesting cars. It's funny how I'm such a big fan of so many cars that I've never seen in person - Matra, Bitter, Tatra, etc. Someday I'll take a world tour...

I certainly enjoy the breadth of your collection - your pics are much appreciated. Merci!!
