I have a 5 HP briggs and stratton motor on a gokart. The problem I'm having is when I run it full throttle, with governor enabled, for a bit and slow down to a stop, as soon as I hit the gas immediately after stopping it begins to die. I can let off the petal and it will continue to idle and not die. I have to let the motor sit there and idle for at least a full minute before I can floor the petal again. I've put a rebuild kit in the carb and cleaned it out very good. Not sure what might be causing this weird problem. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Low speed is set too lean. Need to open up the adjustment 1/8 to 1/4 turn and try it to see if that helps any when you step on the pedal.
