I know I should just bite the damn bullet and buy a new frame, but I am kinda partial to this particular K1e chassis. It is the old "4 stroke" chassis where there is plenty of room to work around the motor & clutch and what not but it is a little on the "tweaked" side. Has anyone out there had their chassis straightened after it has taken a hit? Does it seem to perform the same? Is there a reputable person out there that can repair these chassis? I am just curious.

Brad-
Contact Dave Pirrello at Machesney Park Raceway. I think he has an old "hoop" chassis like you are describing that he would be willing to sell.
Here's his email address: dmpsmoke@aol.com
Good luck.

Call Rick at WCM, I talk to him about this before and he said that he can work with them as long as they are not to bad.
