hey,
i was running my smartech buggy today (shut up, its actully good :D) that ive had for over a year now, and have done lots to it like tc foams, handles well, so i had the need for speed and over leaned it out, and now its seized, so what to do?

Depending on the type of motor (ABC, Ringed etc.) you may just have to put a sleeve and a piston/ring in it. Probably around $80.

Take it apart and survey the damage. Hopefully you haven't ruined the crankshaft or the bearings.

to tell ya the truth scott the whole car cost 20$ more than the repair would be, so ill just try to fudge it, thanks for the help :D

Yup, It sounds disposable to me Mike!! Even if the crank is a little messed up it may still be okay as long as its not literally broke. You may just want to clean up the cylinder and piston with some emery cloth to smooth out the likely scratches and see if it'll run. I've lucked out that way with airplane engines before.

Yeah I think I would just go ahead and buy another one..............
