Eric K 06-30-2007, 11:09 AM Did anyone else see this? I thought it was good. A slightly different take on the subject matter. i like the guy that is the lead actor. He's got a dry delivery that suits this type of story. Also has Bruce Campbell in a supporting role. It's fun to see him as a washed out, alchoholic, burnout of a spy.
Arronax 07-01-2007, 03:08 PM I was pleasantly surprised. I liked the lead actor too although I thought that Bruce Campbell and Sharon Gless were under-used. Well, it was only the first episode.

TAY666 07-01-2007, 04:39 PM I liked it enough to program my VCR to record the next one.
PhilipMarlowe 07-10-2007, 02:00 PM I've been pleasently surpised so far too, the guy that plays the lead is well-cast, ditto for Bruce Campbell as the James Bond-gone-to-seed character.
PhilipMarlowe 09-27-2007, 08:42 AM Sorry to see this go till next summer, I really enjoyed the first season, though I thought the finale was a little weak. While not exactly War & Peace, it was fun and moved well, and the actors were all good. And Miami has not looked so good on TV since Miami Vice went off the air.
Minor quibble, USA REALLY packs in a lot of commercials every episode, it seems more than most hour long shows get.
TAY666 09-27-2007, 09:52 AM Yes. I too miss it not being on, and can't wait until next summer to see it again.
But I have gotten used to these short cable seasons.
While a minus on one hand, I think it actually works well for other reasons.
You don't get much filler, as the season is short.
Also less chance to screw things up.
By having a great 'short' season, the quality on a good show stays high.
OTOH, if you have a weak season, you don't really have time to turn things around. (like this season of Rescue Me, while still good, it doesn't compair to the previous seasons)
Griffworks 09-27-2007, 12:21 PM Altho I've missed every episode since the week of 6 August, I was really enjoying this series, as well. Wife is saving everything to TiVo for me, tho, so I'll have plenty of stuff to watch during my 17 days of Recon Time.
So, the series has definitely been picked up for a second season, I take it? That'll be great, if so.
TAY666 09-28-2007, 08:54 AM Oh yeah.
There were even TV commercials announcing there will be a second season.
Guess it was USAs #1 rated show.
