In 1984, Lancia entered two of their LC2s - #4 & #5 in the race - with the famous Martini livery. A third LC2, #6, was entered with BP / Malardeau sponsorship. The #4 qualified on pole, with the #5, second on the grid.
The 1984 race was another Porsche victory - the Lancias, with their Ferrari V8 engines, were fast but fragile - although the #4 came home 8th, 34 laps behind the winner. The #5, pictured, was driven by Paolo Barilla, Mauro Baldi & Hans Heyer - it retired with camshaft/overheating problems.
The Lancia is modelled by Spark and is nicely done.
