spencer1984 06-27-2007, 09:28 AM 1 - 1958 Plymouth Fury "Christine" (Danbury Mint, 1/24)
2 - 1940s Batmobile (Danbury Mint, 1/24)
3 - 1999 BMW 750iL "Tomorrow Never Dies" (Paul's Model Art, 1/24)
4 - 1963 Cadillac Series 62 "Scarface" (Jada Toys, 1/24)
5 - 1932 Ford/Milner's Hot Rod "American Graffiti" (Revell, 1/25)
The Batmobile wasn't technically a TV or movie car, so if you want to disqualify it then my new #5 would be the 1/25 Bullitt Mustang by Revell. :)
Pewter02WS6 06-27-2007, 12:13 PM can we narrow this down to a particular scale or at least 1/64 & 1/87? i think there is just way too much out there between all scales to narrow them down to a top 5. :)
jage1966 06-27-2007, 12:53 PM I have my Top 10 1:64 scale on my website: http://www.hollywood-diecast.com/top%20ten%20best.htm
1) Hot Wheels '66 Batmobile - Although it's not entirely accurate, the frenzy caused by this release is unlike anything I've seen in recent years.
2) JL Munster's Koach - One of the most detailed and accurate castings I've ever seen.
3) 100% HW '89 Batmobile - The first offering after Mattel got the Batman license. I dig the gold accents.
4) Charawheels BTTF Delorean - Some of the best and most detailed cars ever released were in the Charawheels line. The Back to the Future Delorean is amazing, especially because of the movie-accurate wheels.
5) JL Ghostbusters Ecto-1a - I love all the detail on this car. I just wish JL would also give us the Ecto-1 from the FIRST movie.
My Top 5 1:18 scale cars:
1) AutoArt's Aston Martin DB5 from Goldfinger - with all the working gadgets, this car is not only the coolest, but one of the most expensive 1:18 scale die-cast cars out there.
2) Sun Star BTTF Delorean - With the flip of a switch the wheels fold up for flying action. Amazing!
3) Joy Ride's KITT - It has a working scanner light! C'MON!
4) Joy Ride's Lotus Esprit - It's not easy to do, but it's awesome that you can convert the street version into the submarine version.
5) ERTL's Munster's Koach - One of the coolest cars ever made.

5) ERTL's General Lee 1/18
Plan to buy:
