But are people attracted to older diecasts, regardless if they are all paint stripped and such? Cause I got a couple pretty cool cars that are missing paint kinda like those, like my Firebird :) That question is completely up to each collector. Some will not buy a car if it is not perfect in perfect packaging. I know someone else who has the motto "Condition only matters if I have one already". I am somewhere in between. If it is a cheap variation I will wait for a good model. If it is a 'rare' model I will take a model in less than great condition. That bird is a very nice candidate for a resto. bvis75 06-27-2007, 07:03 PM Redlines, as in any HW with wheels with redlines on them? Yes, any HW's with a red line around the wheel is concidered. But the redline era is from '68 to around '75 I think maybe a few after bvis75 06-27-2007, 07:05 PM So say if I have a VW Drag beetle, there are some scratches on the body, will someone want it? It depends, do you have a picture? Somebody might want it. david29 06-27-2007, 11:56 PM Yes, any HW's with a red line around the wheel is concidered. JasonZ 07-22-2007, 04:44 PM If I like the car, a few sratches won't hurt my buying Lpgeoteacher 07-26-2007, 07:00 AM So say if I have a VW Drag beetle, there are some scratches on the body, will someone want it? ** PUTS HAND IN THE AIR** JasonZ 07-26-2007, 03:07 PM your right, that is good custom bait. man there are no flea markets around here vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
