It is not without enormous pride I have the privilege to announce that Tiny Toy Cars has 'moved' into a brand new shop! At least the design is completely new, the functionality remains the same.
For this, we hired a local graphics and design firm who we flooded with our input with how we wanted our shop to look like...
The design and colors used is highly influenced by die cast cars, packaging and catalogs from the late '60-s and early '70-s, an area I grew up in and which started my affection to 3 Inch toy cars.

With the new design we try to trigger your memories of that area, being a kid aged 8 again, with a few coins in your pocked, glazing through the toy store window where you cannot make up your mind which car to buy for your money. A customer once wrote me this impression and I found it very fitting. I hope you all feel comfortable with the new design soon, I didn't need longer than a splitsecond to fall in love with it!
The design people did an outstanding job!!! Especially the header, which is fully custom made by them according to my directions. It is just awesome!!! It features three cars from the area mentioned...

So far the commercial plug, but I am so EXTREMELY proud of the end result!!!

Congratulations for the new shop design! Looks good! One suggestion: It would be cool if you put (on the Homepage) some pictures of model cars "above the fold line" (to the upper part of the page). Because when you visit the page, the only visible cars (on 1024x768 resolution) are drawings in the upper right corner.

We know that people like pictures, so maybe you could put the "New products for June" to the top (above "What's new"). Well, just an idea. :)

Just placed an order yesterday - site looks good. Seems a bit quicker also.

@Superbird: you are right, it needs some 'cheer' in the upper part of the screen.
I'm working on it! Thanks!
