This is a 1956 Oldsmobile Super 88 convertible made by Milestone Miniatures LTD from Redruth - Cornwall U.K. I've been looking for this model for months in various boxes in my house. I found in last night while looking for another
'50's Oldsmobile model. :rolleyes:

Perhaps Steve (jinx) can tell me something about Milestone Miniature LTD. I don't know if they are still in business. Thanks in advance Steve.

I honestly can't remember what I paid for this model, where I bought it, or when I bought it. My guess would be $60 or more when I bought it. I think I bought it at a Toy Show several years ago. Brooklins are my favorite model maker, and this particular model wasn't made by Brooklin. I have another Oldsmobile (a 1957, I believe) that I misplaced somewhere in my house. This model is similar to the way that Brooklin makes their model cars.

Now I wonder how long it will take me to find that 1957 Oldsmobile hardtop model that I misplaced. :rolleyes: I believe in was made in England too.

Stutz - There was a white metal '57 Olds 98 two door hardtop made in Argentina by Goldvarg. It was a bluish silver color. And of course the recent '57 Olds 88 Fiesta wagon in yellow by Brooklin.

Thanks ranchero. I don't have the '57 Olds 88 Fiesta wagon made by Brooklin, and I'm not sure if it's the '57 Olds 98 two door hardtop made by Goldvarg that I misplaced. Sounds familar though.
